CITY LIMITS

A SPONTANEA COLLECTIVE PHOTO PROJECT

Big cities stretch and expand limitless, generating their own limits, within, which citizens, have to learn how to move.

Usually these limits are manifest and structural, standing between buildings and their occupants, giving life to neighbourhoods and city areas, which seem broadly similar even though they are located very far from one another.

I tried to describe this in each photo of my project.

The human presence is essential and consistent, always in close connection with a structural barrier.

The city is instead barely outlined and represented, being perceived as what it has become: a construction, a concept, which is now far away from the liveability and quality of environment that every human being deserve.
